Thursday 3rd May is Scottish election day. You will be voting in three different ballots:
- One ballot to elect a constituency Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP)
- One ballot to elect Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs) for your region
- One ballot to elect local councillors - note that, for the first time, this will be done using the 'Single Transferable Vote' system. For more information, see the Using your single transferable vote section.
