Accessible polling booths
Every polling place should have at least one of these booths. They are wider with a lower shelf, allowing most wheelchair users to use it. If Jean gets to her polling station and doesn't see an accessible booth, she should ask for it. She could write this down and hand it to a polling clerk or her support worker could ask for her. People who find walking difficult and need to rest could also use the accessible booth by asking for a chair so that they can sit down to vote.
